Egypt's army appointed authorities have decided to null the Muslim Brotherhood non-governmental organization in a drive to neutralize the movement. Now, security forces have killed hundreds of its supporters and rounded up thousands more since Morsi was toppled by the army on July the third after mass protest against them.
In this edition of the debate we discuss how the notion of democracy is being redefined by the army there and their foreign backers most notably the United States and Saudi Arabia.
